Oil-impregnated bearings

METAL
name Oil-impregnated bearings
Classification
Features Oil-impregnated bearings are sintered bearings that have been vacuum-impregnated with lubricating oil. The oil inside the bearing seeps out due to frictional heat generated by the rotation of the shaft, helping to lubricate the bearing. However, frictional heat is not easily generated at low speeds, and ideal lubrication may not be achieved.
